DragonLikesFruit is small plattformer, where you collect fruit as a dragon. You can play one demo level, find secrets, solve puzzles and fight enemies. I created the game over the last months during my free time, so its more like a prototype. But I surely would like you to give it a go and play it, and if you like I would highly appreciate giving me some feedback!

Can you find the big apple and all fruit?

When the dragon looks suspicious..

lame there is no sound or music.  hope  next game is better or you fix it

Really cool game with well made puzzle aspects and great art. As for further improvement, perhaps add a minimap for orientation?  Also, am I only supposed to get 42 apples unlike the screenshots with 53 total?

First thanks you're liking my game! Adding a mini map would be a cool addition, I will definetly come back to this. The total number of apples in this version is 42, the screenshots were taken in the last version, but the counter was really messed up, but it should be fine by now.

Very cute and awesome game! Reminds me of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror. Is it intended that some apples count as more than one? I ended up with 80/48 apples.

Thanks a bunch, kirby was one of the main inspirations behind this game. Thanks for pointing out the issue with the count of the apples, I will fix this soon :D

Hey, you can now find the correct number of apples as displayed by the UI. Thanks for telling me about this issue :)

That was a very fun game! I really enjoyed the puzzles and the character is so cute :D

Have you considered participating in out GDWC #gamedev contest?

Check out our itch.io page for more info :)

Oh thank you, it's great that you enjoyed playing it. GDWC sounds really fun, I might check it out!

Great! :D

this is a great game ! excellent level design and graphics , the only thing i would change is the s and w keys - they make it hard to control if your using the arrows , z and x would be better.

i think ive finished the game , got 75 apples and the giant one - is that them all ?

Thanks you so much! You actually got more apples than there are in the game :D, there are only 48 apples including the huge one.  I wil keep your idea in mind, so I can find more suitable controls next time ;) But thank you so much for the detailed feedback!

You beat me by 2!  I only got 73 and the big 'un.

Fun game.  I second (third) using different keys for attack and flame attack.

Thanks, I'm really happy that this game got so much attention! I may look into setting different keys for the attack and fire button, any suggestions for key bindings?

Z/X are pretty classic.  you can use the arrow keys and space without  much trouble.  You may want to map up to jump on the arrow keys for users who like that.  Then people have the choice of mouse/ wasd or arrow keys and z/x.

Your requested features are now implemented, you can see the new key bindings in the description. Thanks a bunch, for giving me feedback :D

now you know youve got to find the other 2 right ?!

I had a lot of fun playing this game! The art is really polished and the parallax you added to the background is really cool too. My only advice would be to expand on the fireball ability because I think it could be a very interesting mechanic and make your game more unique.

Thats actualy really nice to hear! I had a lot of other ideas for the fire ball ability in mind, like that you could burn the leaves on the trees and activate switches from a distance. Thanks a lot for your feedback, this really feels nice!
